Hello everyone!  Welcome to Justine Brown’s Inside Voice.  Needless to say this has been a long time coming and I am happy to be here!  First, I want to thank those of you that support my work, follow me or have simply stumbled across the site on accident.  I am very excited and hope to make this quite fun and interesting.  The purpose of this site will mainly be for expressing my thoughts and insight on all things sports.

However, for those of you who know me or follow me you should know that I like to talk on just about all things everything, so don’t be surprised if I hop on my soap box from time to time.  This is where I may occasionally chat or rant on an off sports topic or something that peaks my interest.  Along with my blog, you can also find the Video/Radio and Articles/Media sections where I will continuously post recent journalism work that I have done. There’s also a Photos section where I will keep all of you up on what I have been doing and hopefully give you an enjoyable peek at my life.  Lastly, I have included a Contact Me tab, so if you feel the need to comment, question, or express yourself in any way send it on over, I’ll see how I may assist!

Why Inside Voice?

The reason that my blog is titled Justine’s Inside Voice is three-fold (ish).  For starters, growing up my ENTIRE childhood I was always told I talked too much in school and that my “voice carried,” therefore my teachers and adults were always telling me, “Justine use your inside voice,” to try and quiet me down.  Well, for one I never really knew what “your voice carries” meant, for two I couldn’t help that I had a loud voice, and for three I had a lot to say! This irritated me so much that I decided, ‘I am going to pick a career where I can assure that my voice is heard!’  Okay, not really, but it is only fitting that I decide to pursue a career in journalism and broadcasting where I was constantly making my voice heard.  Furthermore, it is here that I will aim to provide an inside voice on all things sports, whether it be discussing players, games, issues and more.

Since I can remember sports have been my whole life.  I grew up playing them, watching them, and talking about them.  Ask anybody that knows me, it’s literally what I eat, sleep and dream about.  With that said,  I take pride in my passion and knowledge of sports and I truly just aim to inform, entertain and have fun.  I love people, I love interacting, and I am really looking forward to this, so please feel free to read, get involved and share your opinions and feedback!  I hope you all enjoy!
